Voices of Tomorrow

Thu 24th October 2024

Voices of Tomorrow is a night to celebrate our future generation of jazz aficionados! One of our most popular community events where the stars are shining much more brightly than ever over the Brisbane River.

At this Voices of Tomorrow event (our last one for the year until 2025), the Kellee Green Trio with Samuel Vincent on bass and John Parker on drums, will support 16-17 local vocalists and instrumentalists including:

Lucie Robinson (voice) | Eliza Wright (voice) | Lucinda Dillion (voice) | Macy Connolly (voice) | Charli Buick (voice) | Levi Kikkert (voice/sax/piano) | Rowan Farrugia (sax) | Imogen Williams (sax) | Ruby Williams (trumpet) | Kate Harrington (trumpet) | Margie Weir (sax) | Pippa Townsend (voice) | Coby Whale (voice) | Zia Kao (voice) | Bradley Boag-Hodson (tenor sax) | Coby Watson (bass) ….

Jazz is a conversational music at its very core. It’s communal – no matter what age. Most pivotal innovations were born out of jam sessions. Voices of Tomorrow is a Jazz Singers’ Jam Night and Brisbane Jazz Club initiative for young emerging artists – both vocalists and instrumentalists.
